Katie Dybzinski

Hi, I’m Katie, a sports photographer specializing in combat sports and MMA. My journey into photography began in 2018 during college, where I was tasked with capturing behind-the-scenes stills for my capstone project. What started as a school assignment quickly became a passion, and I haven’t looked back since.

Growing up, I was always drawn to sports, playing basketball, softball, and golf. This has fueled my interest in capturing the intensity and raw emotion of athletic competition. I also spent three years working in live events, focusing on production management. During this time, I had the opportunity to intern with a local booking agency. That turned into a full time job where I got the chance to work closely with corporate clients and the city of Columbus. This experience allowed me to gain valuable insights into event planning, contract negotiation, and on-site coordination.

I've always been passionate about music, the arts, and sports — I just needed the perfect opportunity to bring them all together.

I love bringing the energy of live sports into every shot, capturing moments that showcase the intensity and artistry of combat sports. I aim to tell the story of each event through my lens, preserving the excitement for athletes, fans, and organizers alike.
